From my creative entrepreneurial background and management consulting lens, I learned how challenging yet rewarding it is to build products that people want and need. This insight gave me all the more respect for the grit and self awareness required to be a founder.

My Philosophy

From my creative entrepreneurial background and management consulting lens, I learned how challenging yet rewarding it is to build products that people want and need. This insight gave me all the more respect for the grit and self awareness required to be a founder.

Partnering with teams through all aspects of building a high growth business (Go to market, Product etc) is one of the unique parts that drew me to investing in early stage companies. I feel lucky to work with founders who bend the world toward new ideas.

Experience

Prior to Costanoa I was a management consultant at McKinsey and Company with experience in GTM and growth strategy across retail and consumer companies (growth marketing and sales practice). Looking back, it’s obvious that I’ve always been drawn to entrepreneurship. In college I opened my own Etsy store selling a range of original prints and physical goods across Asia. It taught me a great deal about e-commerce marketplaces and dropshipping.

Education

B.S in Behavioral Economics at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with research in bundling and consumer decision making.

Outside of Work

I enjoy reading literature, Sci-Fi, and historical fiction (some favorites: Greg Egan, Natalia Ginzburg, Jorge Luis Borges, Rachel Cusk, Hugh Eakin, Ted Chiang, Annie Dillard). As a natural extension of my love for the written word, I write a creative blog with topics spanning culture, technology, and human behavior. Other enthusiasms include lifting weights, yoga, and health-ifying baked goods.
