I get excited when I see elegant and usable products that solve deeply technical problems.

My Philosophy

As a former data scientist and enterprise infra PM, I love thinking about current and future use cases enabled by the latest developments in data infra, ML, and devtools. I meet technologists behind the most exciting emerging projects, often open source, and get excited when I see elegant and usable products that solve deep infrastructural problems. The most rewarding part of my job is working closely with exceptional technical founders at the earliest stages to figure out all things related to company building, including product, go-to-market strategy, team construction, etc.

Experience

Prior to VC, my background was in product management and data science. I was a product manager at Databricks for Workspace, the enterprise data science platform, and Koalas, a new open source project that makes big data simple on Python. At Turo, I built the identity fraud model, which drastically reduced the rate of stolen cars. I have also worked on search at Amazon and as a PM at Pared.

Education

- B.S. in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University

- M.S. in Management Science and Engineering with a focus on Computational Social Science from Stanford University

Outside of Work

I’ve spent the past few years experimenting with espresso and drip coffee equipment. While I’m not an expert, I love to make recommendations to my friends and help them with their setup so that they are on the path to coffee nirvana. I enjoy experiencing new places through food and have a list of restaurants I’d like to try in my lifetime. When I’m not eating or drinking coffee, I play in a rec league basketball team and can talk NBA stats at length to anyone willing to listen.
