My Philosophy

I’ve always enjoyed technology. When I was a kid I started out modding video games, jailbreaking my iPod Touch, and building gaming computers. I somehow decided to study finance in college, but venture has given me the chance to blend my interests in tech and finance, which share a common idea – finding problems to solve. I love having the opportunity to meet smart founders everyday who are working on solving big problems, and partnering with them to work together over the long term.

Experience

Prior to Costanoa, I was a growth investor at Insight Partners, looking at application software and biotechnology. Before that, I spent time in investment banking at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (Truist) and YellowCard, the largest cryptocurrency exchange on the African continent, started by a fellow Auburn alum.

B.S. in Finance from Auburn University

M.S. in Finance from Vanderbilt University

Outside of Work

I’m a creature of habit - I’ve been obsessed with working out as far back as I remember. Lifting, rugby, and jiu-jitsu are my preferred pastimes, and when I’m not doing those I’m practicing guitar, cooking, or reading.
